Senior Software Engineer

Role & responsibilities
Mandatory Skills:

1) Minimum 5+ years of strong manual QA experience in testing web based applications

2) Good working knowledge of API Testing, writing SQL queries including Joins

3) Strong analytical skills and an attitude of being a problem solver

4) Strong experience in performing different types of functional testing techniques (Black Box,
Exploratory, Adhoc, Monkey, etc,.)

5) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and team working skills
6) Clear understanding on Defect life cycle, Defect templates, Reporting defects

7) Good knowledge on test case templates, writing test cases

8) Good knowledge on writing BDD test cases

9) Strong experience in deriving test scenarios of complex applications

10) Strong experience in analyzing Requirements, Traceability of requirements, RCA

11) Good knowledge on Agile/SCRUM processes - SCRUM Team Daily Stand-ups, user-story grooming, sprint planning, retrospective, demos

12) Working experience in JIRA

13) Exposure to test planning and contributing to test plan creation, estimations

14) Exposure to resolving environment specific issues

15) Coordinating with the BA to understand the stories,

16) Help the team stay in line with CT QMS processes, Work closely with the auditees to understand the details and support with all relevant objective evidences.

17) Adheres to Quality Management system & supports the quality audits. Desired Skills: 1) Working knowledge on Selenium with Java
